ABOUT THE PLACE IN SETTLE
The doors to The Place in Settle officially opened in 2021.
We are a forward thinking Charitable Incorporated Organisation rooted in and focused on the local area and community wellbeing. Our aim is to provide a focal point for local residents of all ages to be as well as they can be.
We are here to offer information and signposting services and we can let you know about local volunteering opportunities and information. We have a space for health related support and activities as well as a free public access computer. We offer printing and scanning services.
The vision for The Place in Settle was brought to fruition by a group of trustees who recognised a need for simpler access and signposting to wellness services.
VISION
An inclusive community in which people of all ages and backgrounds are empowered to be as healthy as possible and contribute to local resilience.
MISSION
To provide local people with a wellbeing focused one stop shop for information services, signposting, referral pathways and volunteering opportunities that pool the local skills of local people, VCS organisations and statutory partners connecting this community to the resources of the local authority and wider healthcare system.
